Kate Middleton Princess of Wales Inspired Replikate 'Dallah' Arabic Coffee Pot Charm Necklace
Inspired by a charm necklace that's been in Princess Catherine's jewellery box since at least 2005, and more recently in the family's 2021 Christmas card photo, you can now get your own replikate version of this unusual coffee pot necklace.
The intricately filigreed charm represents an Arabic coffee pot, or 'dallah', commonly used to brew and serve coffee in the tradition of the Arabian Peninsula and the Bedouins. Dallah has a distinctive form, with a bulbous body that tapers in the middle and flares out at the top. The most distinctive feature is the long spout. The body of the dallah is typically richly ornamented, as is the case in this miniature version, which features a series of tiny clear crystals just below the lid for a touch of extra sparkle.
Hanging from a simple gold-tone chain, the dallah is approx. 2.5 cm (1 inch) long, and approx. 1.4 cm (0.5 inches) at widest point. The chain is adjustable between 18-20 inches (approx. 45-50 cm). Yellow gold plated over brass.
Handmade in Italy.
