Inspired by a necklace worn by Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, on a number of engagements during the Royal Tour of Australia and the South Pacific in October 2018, here I present a pair of matching earrings.
These handcrafted earrings feature black resin cowrie shells (Cypraea tigris), accented with bezel-set cubic zirconia elements and suspended from mirroring yellow gold-plated shell ear posts.
Shell drops measure approx. 2.2 x 1.5 cm at widest point (0.9 x 0.6 in). Total earring length approx. 5 cm (2 in).
