Meghan Markle Duchess of Sussex Inspired Tattoo Swirl Spiral Pendant Necklace
Inspired by a necklace worn by Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, on a number of engagements during the State Visit to New Zealand in October 2018.
The original piece, a diamond 'Tattoo' pendant, paid tribute to New Zealand heritage and was inspired by the ancient Maori art form of Ta Moko, symbolising new life, strength and peace.
This handcrafted necklace features a central swirly element in rhodium-plated brass, subtly accented with sparkly cubic zirconia elements, suspended from a yellow gold-plated link chain, just like Meghan's. The contrast between silver and yellow gold is characteristic of this piece and what makes it unique, but if you prefer a more traditional design a silver link chain can be fitted upon request.
Chain length is approx. 20 cm (8 in) on each side of the pendant, total necklace length approx. 43 cm (17 in), with a 5 cm (2 in) extender chain. Central swirly element measures approx. 1.5 cm in diameter (0.6 in). Can be shortened or lengthened upon request. Fastens securely with a lobster clasp.
